Change Art Exhibition
The Bearded Dragon Gallery presents their first art exhibition for 2024, titled “Change”.
Change, as a powerful force within our lives, can catalyse movement or stagnation, enrich us with energy or take our last breath. Change is the law of life we all must abide to. For people living with a disability, change can be more impactful than many most think. More than an everyday inconvenience, it can drastically transform our way of living and experiencing the world around us.
So we asked our artists, what does change mean to you?
Is it scary? Is it exciting? Or are you “turning a new leaf”? Should we embrace change, fall, and let it catch us, or do we fly on the winds of change as it carries us to where we must go?
We have assembled a collection of various works made up of a variety of mediums include photography, acrylic and oil paintings. While some of the artists are more established in their careers, we also wanted to give emerging artists an opportunity to showcase their skills and build their confidence.
All artworks will be for sale, so you can support your favourite artist and our small business.
The Gallery will be open to everyone during our opening night on Thursday 11th April 2024, serving wine and non-alcoholic drinks. You’ll also hear from some of our artists as they share their inspiration and journeys with us in person.
