Artist Call Out! “Beyond Words” Exhibition

We are calling out to South Australian artists who identify as living with a disability or barrier to submit artwork for our first exhibition of the year, titled “Beyond Words”.

This theme is open to interpretation, let the paint brush do the talking. When words fail, art excels.

We also want to explore how sometimes paintings have a deeper meaning than what immediately meets the eye.

For example, using colours through expressionism, surrealism, abstraction, or any other style that you are comfortable with and express emotions that you may not have put into words before.

We accept any medium including paintings, drawings, sculptures, textiles, ceramics, prints and digital art. 

For a fresh twist in a fresh year, we want to incorporate an interactive element to the exhibition. We will leave a notepad beside each artwork where visitors can share how the artwork made them feel. No need for applying meanings or critiques, but a safe space to reflect and share thoughts. 

 

Artwork Specifications:

All artworks must be for sale, have a title and a price.
