Exotic Nature

My name is Robert Peter Eckert and I am an Artist. When I work with acrylic, I am abstracted with my form. With watercolour I become pictorial. With my ‘Bumpalongs’, I am quite random. There is always chaos occuring. I have been painting for 14 years after my beginning ath the ‘Mary Had a Little Art Group’, run by the Mary Magdalene Centre. I painted a pair of boots for Hutt St Centre in 2021 for the walk a mile in my boots campaign, which was then aquired by Port Adelaide Enfield Council.

I have had four solo exhibitions, including exhibits at Olivia’s Hotel. I have found success with adorning four Adelaide City Loop buses with my ‘bumpalong’ art.
